Home health care involves medical support provided by certified professionals like nurses or physical therapists. Grace Hands Home Care focuses on non-medical care, offering help with daily activities like grooming, dressing, light housekeeping, and companionship. Our caregivers do not administer medications or perform medical tasks, but they provide essential support for everyday living.

Yes, Grace Hands Home Care offers supportive care in assisted living facilities. While facility staff assist multiple residents, our caregivers provide personalized, one-on-one care to supplement that assistance. As your loved one’s needs evolve, you can adjust the level of care as necessary.

Absolutely. We aim to make the schedule work for you and your loved one. While we typically ask for one week’s notice for permanent schedule changes, we understand that emergencies happen and will do our best to accommodate short-notice requests.

Though we do not provide medical care, our caregivers are trained to offer personal care services for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other challenging conditions. We take on the caregiving responsibilities, allowing you to focus on creating meaningful moments with your loved one. Our Alzheimer’s and dementia care services are available part-time, full-time, 24/7, or on a temporary or respite care basis.

Yes. Through our Select Your Caregiver program, we carefully match your loved one with a caregiver based on their skills, experience, and personality. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the caregiver, and if both you and your loved one approve, they will begin providing care.

If you ever feel that the caregiver is not the right fit, simply contact your care coordinator to arrange for a new caregiver. We want to ensure both you and your loved one are comfortable with the care being provided.

If you no longer need services, you can cancel with a two-week notice. For adjustments to the number of hours or days your loved one receives care, a one-week notice is typically required.

To get started, contact your local Grace Hands Home Care office to schedule a free home care consultation. A care coordinator will meet with you to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and provide detailed information about our services.
